Smartwatches are pretty much everywhere these days, and with their number continuing to grow, you might be wondering how to pick the best smartwatch for your needs. There are several factors that go into choosing the best smartwatches on the market, and that’s why we’ve made this list of 5 of the world’s best smartwatches you need to check out! With so many watches available today, it’s hard to decide which one fits your life. We hope this list helps you figure it out!

Apple Watch

The original smartwatch, Apple Watch launched in 2015 and has since morphed into a full-fledged ecosystem, complete with the app store, streaming music, and more. The Series 3 model launched last fall and runs on watchOS 4. It comes in two sizes: 38mm ($329) or 42mm ($359). Apple updated its Series 1 model with an option for cellular connectivity at $399; that’s currently the only non-Series 3 watch from Apple you can get (it’s set to be discontinued soon). All models are waterproof up to 50 meters.

Fitbit Ionic

The Fitbit Ionic is a smartwatch that’s kind of like two watches in one: It can track your standard fitness activities and it can run apps with full phone functionality. The design is sleek and its features are powerful, but unfortunately, you won’t be able to receive notifications from third-party apps at launch—at least not until third-party developers get their hands on it later in 2018. If you’re an iPhone user, though, there’s good news: Apple Watch compatibility will come via a software update before long. If you have an Android device? Not so much. But if all you want is basic health and fitness tracking (plus some extras), then it could be worth looking into for $300 less than an Apple Watch Series 3 ($329).

Huawei Watch 2

There are plenty of great smartwatch options out there, but one, in particular, stands out from all others: The Huawei Watch 2. It’s got everything a smartwatch needs—the latest Android OS, access to tons of apps, and over-the-air updates via Google Play—and at a price that won’t break your bank. It also offers more than 20 standalone watch faces and its own app store for adding even more capabilities to your device. Bottom line: If you’re looking for a great smartwatch without breaking your budget, check out Huawei Watch 2.

Misfit Vapor

This is one of those smartwatches that tries to do everything—and it succeeds a lot. It can track your steps, heart rate, workouts, and sleep patterns. In fact, it is even water-resistant and you can go swimming with it. The most exciting thing about it? Its battery life will last for five days on a single charge! Make sure you get one now before they sell out!  Click here to learn more.  It’s hard to find something that does so much in such a small package. But Misfit has done just that with its Vapor smartwatch. This model is an update from their original Misfit Phase, but it still comes packed with tons of features including automatic activity tracking (no need to press any buttons!), an app store (that connects directly to Android or iOS), a customizable face and band, as well as thousands of third-party apps. Plus, its battery lasts up to 5 days without charging (when using all its features). And unlike other models in our lineup which use proprietary software, you’ll be able to download apps directly from Google Play Store or Apple App Store if you have an Android or iOS device respectively.

Samsung Gear S3

Samsung’s Gear S3 is a good smartwatch for Android users who want an attractive, round-faced timepiece that does more than just tell time. The rotating bezel on its face lets you navigate your phone and check notifications without blocking or smudging what’s on-screen. What’s more, it packs all that into a body less than half an inch thick. But while it lacks some smartwatch conveniences—namely NFC and heart rate monitoring—its hardware makes up for it with fast performance, a beautiful display, and great battery life.
